Douglass Street is decked out in summer fun

Carroll Gardens bopped to the tune of community camaraderie when mom, dad and the kids helped fan the flame of friendship during a block party along Douglass Street.

The annual revel gave neighbors a chance to cement their ties with a day of good cheer, potluck food and amusements galore for the young and the young-at-heart.
