The Numu Arts Collective presents Friends With Benefits: A Benefit for the Numu Arts Collective, October 23, 7 p.m., at their Bushwick headquarters, 75 Stewart Avenue. The event will raise funds and present work by members of this new Brooklyn-based collective.
Friends With Benefits will feature performances by local musicians Greg Kozicz, Yacine Boularès, Colin Steel and The Wire*taps, and Guitars. Exhibiting artists are Maria Petrovskaya, CJ Rosenthal, Rebeca Olguín and J. M. O’Malley. All featured musicians and artists are members of the Numu Arts Collective.
At all Numu events attendees are also invited to join in on a live art segment — this time featuring a collaborative mural and autumn crafts area. Admission price is an $8 suggested donation, which includes one free beer and access to all portions of the show and live art.
