Have a stockpile of palm-aid you’re dying to get rid of, or a closet full of poodle-skirts you haven’t worn in ages?

Head down to the “Grease” Sing Along at the Bell House on Feb. 16, where fans of the classic school yard musical are invited to sing, dance, and dress up as their favorite T-Bird and Pink Lady as the film plays in the background.

“It’s an interactive movie show,” said the event’s co-creator Jerm Pollet and founder of Secret Formula Productions, which puts on sing-alongs to classic films and television shows such as “The Little Mermaid,” “Hedwig and the Angry Inch,” and “Twin Peaks.” “It gets the audience to heckle, make noise, be rowdy, and just do generally what you’re not supposed to do in a movie theater.”

Pollet and his partner, Michael Austin created the series in an effort to ramp up the experience of watching a classic film, in the spirit of midnight “Rocky Horror Picture Show” screenings.

“People who love the movie can get together, geek up, get in costume and be a fan.”

And the fun doesn’t stop when the credits start to roll.

After the show, audience members can test their “Grease” knowledge with movie-themed trivia, step it up in a dance contest, and down a specialty cocktail such as the DJ Vince Fontaine, the Scorpion, of the Greased Lightning.

But the biggest draw is the chance to hang out with like-minded superfans.

“To be honest, the kinds of people that nerd out about anything are the people that you find in the corner of a party — they’re not necessarily the star of the room,” said Pollet, “but we throw a parties where they are the star. It’s their party, and they rule the night.”
