Calling all photographers!

Whether you’re an expert or just starting out, Green-Wood Cemetery invites you to capture “A Moment in Time” in their latest photography contest. Partnering with renowned professional photo lab Printique, the contest encourages New Yorkers to share their unique perspectives and stories featuring the iconic landmark.

“We’re excited to see how our visitors capture the essence of Green-Wood,” said Harry J. Weil, vice president of education and programming at The Green-Wood Cemetery. “This photo contest and exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to showcase what the nearly half-million people who step through our gates love about the cemetery.”

A destination for over half a million visitors annually, Green-Wood Cemetery boasts sprawling grounds filled with impressive architecture and rich history. Throughout the year, the cemetery offers various programs and initiatives focused on education, research, and restoration.

“At Printique, we believe in the power of photography to tell stories and preserve memories,” said Gabrielle Grace, social media manager at Printique. “We are thrilled to partner with Green-Wood on this project, as it allows us to honor the unique perspectives of our community while celebrating a cherished landmark.”

The winner of the photo contest will be determined by a panel of judges from both Green-Wood and Printique. Ten submissions will be selected to be printed by Printique and displayed as part of an outdoor exhibit on Green-Wood’s fence.

The contest ends Aug. 30. More information can be found at printique.com/a-moment-in-time.
