Talk about a bone-chilling discovery.
Workers unearthed human bones deep underground outside a psychiatric center on Clarkson Avenue in East Flatbush on Aug. 21, police said.
Construction workers excavating the site for sewer repair work struck the mysterious remains — including a skull, arm, and leg bones — 13 feet deep in the dirt near the Kingsboro Psychiatric Center at about 1 pm, according to authorities. The city’s Medical Examiner confirmed the bones belonged to a human, but is still investigating the cause of death, how old they are, and whether they indicate a nearby burial ground, officials said.
