Brad Einhorn of the Cobble Hillbillies has a new group in town playing classic bluegrass and old time music with a creative twist. A stellar cast of NYC bluegrass musicians join him including Matt Check on banjo, Kari Denis on fiddle, Joel Turoff on guitar and Jeff Ratner on bass.
Brian Patch makes their NYC debut performance at Jalopy! with rockin’ old time music with an improvisational twist. The group features Charlie Shaw on guitar, Kari Denis on fiddle, Jeff Ratner on bass and more special guests from the NYC old time scene.
Jalopy Theater closes out this month of performances with the Country Stars in NYC, spotlighting Jan Bell and the Cheap Dates plus Will Scott at 9 p.m., August 29.
Scott’s blend of blues, rock and Americana shines in both his original songs and amazing voice. Jan Bell’s songwriting and beautiful country voice has propelled her to international acclaim. Her last album, “Songs for Love Drunk Sinners,” was selected as alt-country album of the year by the Independent Music Awards. Jan performs solo and with her Brooklyn based band, the Cheap Dates.
