Over the weekend of July 11-13, WOMB (Women Organizing, Mobilizing and Building) will host its 12th annual Manifest Destiny Conference for women and families in the faith and of the faith at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge, 333 Adams Street.
The weekend opens with a gospel concert featuring award-winning gospel artist Martha Munizzi, followed by a day of workshops on Saturday, including Sweating in the Spirit led by Donna Richardson-Joyner, spa services and a comedy concert. The weekend closes with Sunday service and the Destiny Awards Brunch, honoring dedicated women of faith from across the region and the country.
The conference is designed to USE women — Uplift, Support and Educate — by encouraging good mental, spiritual, physical and financial health. The events also facilitate networking among the women who attend.
