Pocket money

A villain mugged a guy at gunpoint and ran off with a wad of cash on Bushwick Avenue on the night of Oct. 2.

The victim told cops he passed a group of men while walking between Varet and Cook streets at around 9:50 pm, and one of them left the group and approached him from behind.

The baddie put a silver firearm to the victim’s waist and demanded his property, and the victim forked over some cash. The perp then pilfered the victim’s pockets and took the rest of his money, authorities said.

Bus stalk

A couple of knife-wielding scoundrels snatched a guy’s wallet while he waited for a bus at the Williamsburg Bridge Plaza Bus Terminal on Oct. 3.

The victim was waiting for a bus at the terminal at the corner Havemeyer Street and Broadway at around 11 pm when the dastardly duo approached, cops said.

One of the perps displayed a knife and demanded the guy’s property while the other rifled through his pockets and pulled out his wallet, which contained several hundred dollars, authorities said.

The two fled down Havemeyer Street towards S. Fifth Street, according to a police report.

Barbecue hit

Burglars swiped $3,000 in cash from a Morgan Avenue barbecue joint in early morning hours of Sept. 28.

The owners of the restaurant near Scholes Street told cops someone broke into the place sometime after midnight, forced open the portable safe, and snagged the three grand.

Police said there was visible damage to the rear door of the establishment.

Hammer crime

A couple of thieves broke into a Manhattan Avenue bakery with a sledge hammer on Oct. 1 while a woman was cleaning the place, but when the lady yelled at the cowards they took off running.

The owner of the bakery near Devoe Street said his cleaner called him around 4 am after two goons broke through the door of his business with bolt cutters and a sledge hammer, according to a police report.

The cleaning lady told the owner that when the perps saw her, she yelled at them and they hoofed it down Manhattan Avenue, jumped in a car, and sped down Metropolitan Avenue toward Leonard Street, cops said.
