Bad brains
A gun-toting crook threatened and robbed a man on Clermont Avenue on May 30.
The 23-year-old victim told cops he was near Park Avenue at 12:30 am when the crook walked up to him, displayed a silver and black gun, and said, “If you turn around I’m going to blow your brains out.”
After the kid handed over $80, the thug fled.
Don’t smoke
Police arrested a cane-wielding bandit who they say robbed and beat a man on DeKalb Avenue on May 31.
The 30-year-old victim told cops he was at Brooklyn Hospital near Ashland Place at 6:20 pm when a man approached him and asked for a cigarette. After the victim pulled out his wallet by accident, the bandit snatched it away, beat him with a cane, and took $40 from the wallet.
The victim stayed at the hospital with minor injuries. Cops arrested a suspect at the hospital.
Window swiper
A greedy thief smashed the window of a car on Clermont Avenue overnight on May 27 — and took off with the navigation system and the owner’s stuff.
The 37-year-old victim told cops she left her car between Lafayette and Greene avenues at 6:30 pm and returned at 2:30 am to find the window broken and her navigation system and black leather goods gone.
Condo crush
A man struck a woman with a parking gate on Myrtle Avenue on June 1.
The 26-yar-old victim told cops that she and her employee were at the lot near Ashland Place at 3:50 am when the man pushed them out and slammed the metal gate into her body.
Street attack
A jerk hit a woman on Carlton Avenue on May 28.
The 29-year-old victim told cops she was between Fulton and Atlantic avenues at 6:20 pm when someone hit her in the head with an unknown object.
Car bark
Someone broke into a car parked on Willoughby Avenue on May 30, taking a laptop and price gun.
The 26-year-old victim told cops he left his car near Hall Street at 11 am.
When he returned at 12:25 pm, his laptop computer and price gun were gone.
Con education
Cops arrested a man who they say stole copper wire from the back of a truck on Fulton Street on May 29.
Representatives from Con Edison told the police that the man stole copper wire from their truck parked at South Portland Street at 12:40 pm.
Man-vandaled
A larcenist drove off with a van that was parked on Gates Avenue on May 29.
Representatives from Pro-Tech Plumbing and Heating told cops they left their Ford van parked between Grand Avenue and Cambridge Place at 12:30 pm, returning a half hour later to find the vehicle missing.
iPhoned
A crook stole a fancy phone right out of a woman’s hands on Myrtle Avenue on May 30.
The 27-year-old victim told cops she was at Navy Street at 10:10 pm when the thief approached her, snatched her phone from her hand, and fled into the nearby housing projects.
Waverly why?
Three jerks stole a teenager’s wallet on Waverly Avenue on May 31, police said.
The 15-year-old victim told cops he was between DeKalb and Lafayette avenues at 4:15 pm, when the three brutes took his wallet forcibly.
Cops say they arrested a suspect — a 16 year old — later that day.
