Starry-eyed students took to the stage and wowed the crowd with a homespun production at Public School 8.
The talented crew presented a costumed production of “Soldea Island,” transforming the Auditorium of the school, 37 Hicks Street, into a show hall of original song and dance routines.
The play was the school’s first student-run production, with youngsters taking charge at every level – from publicizing the play to managing the crew and even assisting the director.
