Pedaling perp: Cops hunt burglar who nabbed bike from Crown Heights home

Cops are hunting the burglar who nabbed a bike from inside a Crown Heights residential building near Brooklyn Museum on May 26.

The victim told police that the thief made an unsuccessful bid to enter the building between Washington and Classon avenues through the front door at 12:46 p.m., before he managed to force open a basement door and make off with the $450 Trek Stagger stored within.

Investigators described the suspect as 40 years old, 6 feet tall, and about 250 pounds.
