Stabbed and grabbed
Cops cuffed a guy for slashing a teen in the face inside a park on Jay Street on May 30.
The 19-year-old victim told police he and the suspect got into an argument inside the green space near Tillary Street at about 1:20 pm, when the suspect whipped out a knife and stabbed the victim in his lip, according to authorities.
Right on the head
Police arrested a guy for striking a woman in the head with a cane inside an Atlantic Avenue apartment on May 31.
The 43-year-old victim told police the suspect whacked her with the cane, causing a gash in her head, inside the apartment near Third Avenue at about 4:30 pm, according to authorities. Paramedics took the victim to Methodist Hospital, police said.
While she was out
Some good-for-nothing swiped a woman’s jewelry, clothing, and electronics from her Henry Street apartment sometime between May 21 and May 28, police said.
The 24-year-old victim told cops she had left her apartment near Clark Street on May 21 for vacation for a week and when she returned home, saw her door had been opened and the baddie stole her suitcase, Swarovski jewelry, pink Blackberry, Nike sportswear, and Toshiba hard drive, according to authorities.
Bye-cycle
A malefactor stole a woman’s bike parked on Cadman Plaza West on May 29, police said.
The 49-year-old victim told cops she had locked up her red road bike with white paint near Johnson Street at about 3 pm and when she returned 30 minutes later, saw the lock had been broken and her two-wheeler was gone, according to authorities.
