Random acts of violence
Police busted an alleged wacko suspected of wounding a nurse in an unprovoked attack on Sixth Street on April 15.
The victim told police she was between Seventh and Eighth avenues at 7:10 pm, when, to her horror, the suspect suddenly grabbed her face and smashed her head against a wall.
Investigators later discovered the suspect had been recently discharged following a psychological evaluation prior to the attack, cops said.
The victim was rushed to Methodist Hospital, where she received treatment for her wounds.
Have a drink
Cops cuffed a woman accused of hurling drinking glasses inside a Fifth Avenue restaurant on April 10.
An employee told police the suspect was inside the eatery between Seventh and Eighth streets at 9:20 pm when she went bonkers and decided to send glassware sailing through the diner.
Prospect slasher
Officers arrested a man suspected of slashing another gentleman inside Prospect Park on April 10.
The victim told police he was engaged in a shouting match with the suspect inside the green space near Parkside Avenue at 11:10 am, when the other man flew into a rage and slashed him across the top of his head.
Not satisfied with causing a nasty gash, the suspect then grabbed a stick and bashed the hapless park patron on the head, cops said.
Pervy perp
Cops arrested a 54-year-old man who they say stole more than $1,100 worth of undies and other women’s undergarments from a Flatbush Avenue lingerie shop on April 12.
An employee told police she was working inside the retail shop near Atlantic Avenue at 12:35 pm when she spotted the suspect nab about 40 pairs of panties, along with knockout pants and knit tops, before breezing past the register with his ill-gotten girl stuff.
But the worker followed the man into the nearby Atlantic Avenue subway terminal, when she called the police, who later the nabbed the suspect with his illicit unmentionables in hand, cops said.

Some thief drove off with a 66-year-old woman’s 2012 Toyota she parked along Second Street on April 9.
The victim told police that she left her Japanese import between Eighth Avenue and Prospect Park West at 10 pm, and returned the following morning to find an empty spot where her ride had been.
