Sheepshead Bay straphangers were horrified to discover the words “Kill Arabs” scrawled onto a B44 bus stop at Avenue V Monday morning.
A racist vandal spray-painted the threat onto the bus stop near Nostrand Avenue sometime after 8 p.m. Sunday, cops said.
Local Councilman Chaim Deutsch condemned the anti-Arab graffiti in an early morning tweet Monday.
“We cannot and will not tolerate hate of any kind in New York City,” the lawmaker tweeted.
And Council Speaker Corey Johnson chimed in with a tweet denouncing the vandalism as an attack on Sheepshead Bay’s Arab population.
“Disturbed to see this violent and hate-filled graffiti targeting the Arab community,” Johnson tweeted Hate.
The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident, according to police.
