The 33-year-old cab driver told cops he was picking up a passenger between Myrtle and Park avenues at 3:30 am when his fare refused to close the door.

When the driver got out of the vehicle to close it himself, the passenger attacked him and ran off with his $200 glasses.

Smoking gun

A crook robbed a Fulton Street bodega in the early morning of June 21, but not before bumming a few smokes.

The victim told cops the man entered the store between Clinton and Waverly avenues at 3:28 am, pointed a gun at him, and said, “Give me all the money and a pack of Newport 100s.”

After the clerk complied, the thief fled.

iPhone home

A crook strong-armed a cellphone away from a 53-year-old woman on Adelphi Street on June 22.

The victim told cops that she was on the front steps of a building between Lafayette and Greene avenues at 2:55 pm when the jerk grabbed her arm, tugged away her iPhone, and fled.

Motored away

A speedy thief made away with a motorcycle parked on Lafayette Avenue on June 24.

The 35-year-old victim told cops he left his motorcycle near Clinton Avenue at 2:15 pm, and returned at 8 pm to find it gone.

Drinking in the streets

Police arrested a man who they say was drinking out of an open container on Carlton Avenue on June 20.

Cops said the man was drinking Grey Goose vodka and cranberry juice out of a plastic cup between Atlantic Avenue and Fulton Street at 8:47 pm and obstructing the sidewalk.

When police tried to detain him, he pushed the officers and scratched them, officials said.

Computerized

A crook smashed a Grand Avenue apartment’s window security gate and stole the tenant’s laptop on June 19.

The 44-year-old victim told cops she left her place between Gates and Lexington avenues at 2 pm, and returned at 9:15 pm, only to find the gate smashed and her laptop gone.
