The Wildlife Conservation Society’s (WCS) New York Aquarium is now offering free admission every Friday from 3 p.m. until closing.
The New York Aquarium provides an entertaining and educational experience for the whole family. Friendly walruses, amazing sandtiger sharks, amazing jellyfish, playful sea otters, and spectacular sea lions are among the hundreds of species of the more than 8,000 animals that welcome visitors every day of the year.
A Wildlife Conservation Society park, the New York Aquarium, opens every day of the year at 10 a.m. with seasonal closing times. Admission is $12 for adults, and $9 for children ages 3-12 and $10 for senior citizens (65 and older); children under 3 years of age are admitted free. Parking is $12. The aquarium is located on Surf Avenue at West Eighth Street in Coney Island.
