It was a horror show.

The Brooklyn Aviators were utterly annihilated by the New Jersey Outlaws on Friday — and were left skulking off the ice following a crushing 8-0 shutout at the Capitol One Ice Vault in dirty Jersey.

The travesty was the Aviators’ second loss to New Jersey this week, but only the latest in the long line of disappointments that led to Brooklyn’s embarrassing 0-6 record against the Outlaws this season.

Brooklyn net minder Peter Dundovich gave up two goals in the first period, followed by four additional morale-shattering points in the second. Goalie Jo St. Pierre took over for Dundovich in the final period — but he fared no better, giving up two.

But Brooklyn’s goal tenders weren’t the only Aviators to fall apart during Friday’s disgraceful loss.

The Outlaws outshot and outplayed Brooklyn during the three period rout, ending the game with 51 attempts at the Aviators net to Brooklyn’s 34. The Outlaws also spent less time in the box with two penalties to Brooklyn’s seven.

Brooklyn was ashamed by the defeat, and it showed: throughout the bitter soul-sucking match, the Aviators didn’t even have the will to shed gloves and put up a good brawl.

The Brooklyn Aviators will return home to battle the Cape Cod Bluefins on New Year’s Eve at Aviator Sports and Events Center [3159 Flatbush Ave. in Floyd Bennett Field in Marine Park, (718) 758-7580] Dec. 31, at 5 pm.
