Waiting to pounce
A sly snake lay in waiting in a guy’s car on 81st Street on Aug. 6, then swung a baton at the victim once he got in.
The victim told cops he got into his car near parked New Utrecht Avenue around 11:50 pm and the lunatic was waiting for him with an expandable baton.
The punk tried to hit the victim with the baton, then grabbed $75 from the car and ran down 81st Street towards 17th Avenue, according to a police report.
Grab-bag and go
A couple of baddies pulled a gun on a woman and ran off with her purse on Bay 17th Street in the early morning hours of Aug. 5.
The woman was walking home near 86th Street at 1:30 am when the vile villains approached her from behind and said “Give me your bag,” said cops.
One of the perps pulled out a black firearm and shoved it against the victim’s waist, authorities say. The duo then scampered down Bay 17th Street towards 86th Street, according to a police report.
Bonnie and Clyde
A guy-and-gal duo doubled up to rob a man on 18th Street on Aug. 9, leaving the victim battered across the face.
Authorities say the gentleman was on his way home from work near 64th Street at 2:45 pm when he was approached by a guy and a girl. The brute hit the man across the face and arm with a wooden object, causing swelling and bruising on his eye, hand, and arm, police say.
The dastardly dame went into the guy’s pant pockets and took his wallet while he partner took the victim’s watch off his left arm before fleeing, police say.
Fist to cheek
Some punks punched a guy in the face and took his money and cellphone on 86th Street late at night on Aug. 9.
Authorities say the victim was near Bay 23rd Street at 11:50 pm when the perps came up and punched him on the cheek, causing bruising and swelling on his face. One of the scoundrels sifted through the guy’s pockets and pulled out $300 in cash and his cellphone, then ran down 86th Street towards 20th Avenue, according to a police report.
