Double theft

A thief stole a Second Place resident’s designer wallet — and used the four credit cards inside to buy an iPhone for more than $1,300, police said.

The woman, who lives between Henry and Clinton streets, realized that her goods were gone — along with two MetroCards and a gift card inside — at around 6 pm on Feb. 23, when she got an alert that someone had used her credit card to buy the iPhone, police said.

Petty theft

A thief wiped snacks and a pair of gloves from a Court Street store on Feb. 19.

The incident occurred at the store at Pacific Street at around 5 pm, police said, adding that the man became disorderly and began kicking objects as he left the store.

Didn’t get far

Police arrested a man who they say stole an estimated $300 worth of goods from a Beard Street store on Feb. 21.

Officers arrested the man on Columbia Street between Bush and Mill streets at around 2 pm, according to the report.

Well-dressed crook

A thief stole clothing from an Atlantic Avenue store on Feb. 21.

The incident occurred at the store between Clinton and Court streets around 3:20 pm, police said.

Time for a time-out

Police arrested a boy who allegedly hit a man with a glass bottle in his forehead, causing bruising, on W. Ninth Street on Feb. 23.

The incident occurred at Smith Street just after 1 am, police said.
