A criminal stole a man’s cellphone, identification card, and credit and debit cards — which he used to make more than $130 worth of purchases — by cutting open the man’s pocket while he slept on a Coney Island-bound N train at some point between March 29 and March 30.

The incident occurred at some point after 11:30 p.m. on March 29, when the man fell asleep on the train after boarding at a stop on the distant isle of Manhattan, police said. The man woke up a few hours later, when the train pulled up to the Bay Parkway stop at W. Seventh Street, and found that a crook had cut open his right rear pocket had taken his goods, according to the report, which added that the criminal then used the cards to make the purchases.

Truck no

A lout stole a man’s credit and debit cards — which he used to spend $70 at a gas station — along with $30 cash from his truck parked on 73rd Street at some point overnight on March 27.

The incident occurred at the parking spot between 17th and 18th avenues at some point after 7 p.m. on March 27, police said, adding that there was no broken glass or signs of forced entry around the car.

Mother knows best

A pair of crooks broke into a woman’s Bay Seventh Street apartment on March 28.

The break-in occurred at the home between Benson and Bath avenues at around 12:35 a.m., when the woman’s mother saw the duo leaving her daughter’s apartment and fleeing down Bay Seventh Street towards Bath Avenue on foot, according to the report, which added that the mother and daughter did not know if the baddies took anything.

Sweet tooth

A punk stole four boxes of candy worth $100 from an Avenue U store and punched an employee in the lip when she tried to stop him on March 28, police said.

The incident occurred at the store between W. Ninth and W. 10th streets at around 8:15 a.m., according to the report.

Afternoon assault

A lout threw a brick at a man — causing bleeding, pain, and lacerations above his upper lip and eye — on 25th Avenue on March 29.

The incident occurred between 86th Street and Benson Avenue at around 4 p.m., according to the report, which added that the victim received treatment at Coney Island Hospital.

Cash grab

A thief stole $15,000 from a woman’s 25th Avenue home at some point overnight on March 30.

The theft occurred from the home between 86th Street and Benson Avenue at some point after 5:40 p.m. on March 30, when the woman went out, and the next morning, when she woke up and realized that her upstairs bedroom had been ransacked, she said.
