Thousands of goblins, ghouls, and ghosts flocked to Prospect Park for the 40th annual Haunted Halloween and Walk on Saturday.
“It was super fun,” said Becca Crawford, whose one-year-old son Arlo donned a chicken costume for the festivities. “It was really our first Halloween to celebrate together.”
Costumed party-goers took to the woods on Lookout Hill for a ghastly stroll rife with witches and werewolves, while pint-sized monsters partook in kid-friendly festivities like bubble blowing and story-telling on the park’s Nethermead.
Halloweeners also saddled up for haunted carousel rides, and gawned on savory treats from an assortment of food trucks.
