Town hall meeting on public education

Public Advocate Bill de Blasio, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, State Senator Daniel Squadron, Assemblywoman Joan Millman, and Councilmembers Letitia James, Brad Lander and Steve Levin will convene a town hall meeting, March 3, to discuss the city’s public education system.

The forum will be held from 7-9 p.m. in the courtroom at Brooklyn Borough Hall, 209 Joralemon Street.

Representatives from the Department of Education, United Federation of Teachers and members of local community education councils and community boards will also participate in the discussion.
