he Center For The Urban Environment (formerly BCUE), now at its new location at 168 Seventh Street in Brooklyn, continues its season with a host of walks throughout the borough and beyond.

· June 15, 3-5 p.m., the focus is on Park Slope South-Southern Exposure. Explore Park Slope’s numbered streets, heading south from the Litchfield Villa. Both older and more architecturally varied than the blocks to the north, participants will have a chance to discuss the neighborhood’s rich history.
You’ll pass handsome townhouses, impressive schools and religious structures, as well as the Ansonia Clock Factory, which once produced ten thousand timepieces each day. Meet at the southeast corner Prospect Park West and Third Street.
· June 21, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. enjoy Park Slope: Celebrating 35 Years as a Historic District. In July 1973, Park Slope became an historic district, preserving one of Brooklyn’s finest residential neighborhoods.
This walk will visit some of the most beautiful blocks, paying particular attention to the families who commissioned these residences, as well as recent restoration projects and new construction. Meet street level of the 2/3 train at the newsstand in Grand Army Plaza.
