Students displayed their knowledge of all things Jewish during a Torah fair at the Yeshiva of Crown Heights.
Youngsters teamed up with staffers at the parochial school, East 63rd Street and Avenue U, for a vibrant showcase of Judaic holidays, customs and history, presented by the Torah Studies Department.
Among the crowd−pleasers were dioramas and displays, representing the holidays of Succot, Shavout, Purim and the High Holydays of Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, followed by the festival of Lights, also known as Chanukah.
Pupils set up tables, demonstrating the blessing rites of the Friday night Sabbath, and exhibited, among other offerings, their models of the Battle of Shechen, Meharet Hamp Echala and Abraham and his nephews.
The occasion, coordinated by teacher Elana Cohen, celebrated the culmination of the academic year.
