In the octagon

A bully hit a man in the face with a stop sign during a fit of road rage on Surf Avenue.

The victim told police that he was trying to park between W. 15th and W. 16th streets at around 1:30 pm when the bruiser began assaulting him with the red octagonal sign, claiming the spot was his.

Deli dump

A group of bad guys slashed a man during a violent robbery near Brighton Beach Avenue on March 10.

The victim told police that his memory was foggy, but he remembers being inside a deli before the men grabbed him and left him near Brighton Sixth Street at around 2 am with his money and foreign ID missing.

Sinful

Sacrilegious snakes swiped $1,000 from a locked collection box in a Poplar Avenue synagogue on March 12.

An employee of the house of worship told police that the unholy thieves broke into the temple at the intersection of Highland Avenue at around 2:30 am, before using a hammer to pry open the donation box and running off with the ill-gotten cash.
