Some lowlifes hit a man with a bat on Mermaid Avenue on July 21.
The victim told police the punks attacked him near W. 16th Street at 6 p.m., cops said.
The man suffered minor injuries, and declined a trip to the hospital, police said.
Jacked
A thief nabbed a car from a 66-year-old car service driver on Stillwell Avenue on July 25.
The victim told police he picked up the carjacker near Mermaid Avenues 6 p.m., but the thief refused to pay his fare, instead choosing to punch the elderly man in the face, before fleeing in his car.
Tough love
Cops cuffed a man for alledgedly taking $2,000 from his girlfriend’s purse inside a W. 11th Street apartment on July 20.
The victim told police her beau nabbed the cash while she was showering in her apartment between avenues W and X at 11:45 p.m.
The victim realized her cash was gone after the boyfriend left the apartment, cops said.
Wheel crime
A thief stripped wheels and rims worth more than $1,000 from a parked car on Seabreeze Avenue on July 22.
The victim told police he parked his car between W. First and W. Second streets at 8 pm, and returned the next day to find he was short a few wheels.
