Violent robbery
Cops arrested a man for allegedly strangling a female friend on W. Ninth Street on Sept. 25.
The victim told police that her acquaintance asked her for money near Bay Parkway at 11:30 pm, but when she refused, the suspect allegedly choked her unconscious and went through her bag, nabbing $100 and her electronics.
Pipe down!
A teenager smacked two grocery store employees with a metal pipe on Avenue O on Sept. 22.
One of the victims told police that the young brute hit him with a metal pipe and skateboard during an argument inside the store near W. Seventh Street at 4 pm, and when another employee tried to intervene, the marauder smacked him in the left arm.
Car crook
A thief stole $1,500 from a parked car on Bay 19th Street sometime between Sept. 24 and Sept. 25.
The victim told police that the bandit pushed in the rear passenger window and stole the cash from his car parked by Benson Avenue sometime overnight.
Trailer dash
Two pirates stole a U-Haul trailer from a New Utrecht Avenue storage space on Sept. 15.
Employees told police that surveillance footage depicts the two thieves hitching the trailer, worth more than $1,000, to their motorcycle at the facility by 15th Avenue at 1:45 am before driving off.
