Pilferer loots over $16,000 worth of goods from parked car

Trunk treasure hunt

A thief stole more than $16,000 worth of belongings from a car on Warren Street sometime between Aug. 10 and Aug. 11.

The victim told police that the looter opened the unlocked trunk of the car parked near Clinton Street and nabbed a Mac computer, a bag, a suitcase, and women’s clothes — totaling over $16,000. 

Baddie two-shoes

A burglar stole a pair of shoes outside a Baltic Street home on Aug. 9.

The victim told police that the porch pirate snagged a package containing a pair of $288 shoes from his doorstep between Court and Clinton streets.

Revel rebel

A pilferer stole a license plate off a Revel moped on Fourth Place on July 27.

An employee told police that they received an alert that someone was tampering with the motorized bicycle parked between Clinton and Court streets at around 11:50 pm, and when they arrived at the scene, they found that the bandit had removed the license plate. 

Bike bandit

A nogoodnik stole two bikes from Pioneer Street on Aug. 9.

The victim told police that the sneak thief took the two unlocked bikes, worth $250 each from between Richards and Van Brunt streets at around 3 am.
