Carjacked
Some carjacker robbed a guys car near MetroTech Center on August 14, police say.
The victim told cops he left his car parked near Flatbush Avenue at around 2:00 am, when he returned the next day at 1:00 pm, someone had broken in and nabbed his Dell computer, iPhone, drill, and hammer, worth $2,664 in total.
Wallet snatcher
Some cad snatched a guy’s wallet in Brooklyn Bridge Park on August 14, police say.
The victim told cops he placed his bag down at around 9:15 pm near the Furman Street entrance. When he returned to it, his wallet was gone.
High class
A thief stole a fancy purse from a Macy’s on Fulton Street on August 15, cops say.
An employee told cops the shoplifter nabbed the $1,000 purse from the store near Hoyt Street at 11:00 am.
Strange rover
A carjacker stole a car from Henry Street on August 11, cops say.
The owner of the car told cops he parked his Range Rover near Henry Street on August 10 at 5:00 pm. When he returned on August 11 at 2:00 pm, it had vanished.
