As the Brooklyn Cyclones gear up for the final leg of their 2024 home schedule, fans can look forward to a series of thrilling games at Maimonides Park.
The Cyclones, the High-A affiliate of the New York Mets known for lasting league legacies, will host the Jersey Shore BlueClaws and the Wilmington Blue Rocks over the next few weeks, promising plenty of action as a sweltering summer season draws to a close.
Brooklyn’s home-team will first face off against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws in a six-game series, kicking off on Tuesday, Aug. 20. Each game will start at 7 p.m., except for the weekend matchups, which are set for 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25. The Cyclones will be looking to capitalize on home-field advantage as they battle their familiar division rivals.
Following the Jersey Shore series, the Cyclones will welcome the Wilmington Blue Rocks for another six-game stretch, starting on Tuesday, Sept. 3, at 7 p.m. The weekday games will begin at 7 p.m., with the weekend games scheduled for 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8. This series marks the final opportunity for fans to catch the Cyclones in regular-season action at home.
The Cyclones have enjoyed a strong season so far, and these upcoming games are critical as they push towards a potential playoff berth. With the season winding down, each game takes on added significance, and the team will be counting on their fans to create an electric atmosphere that could give them the edge.
Fans attending the games can expect the usual array of ballpark entertainment, including promotions, giveaways, and family-friendly activities. And there are a few more exciting theme nights left.
Enter a galaxy far, far away at Maimonides Park for Star Wars Night on Saturday, Aug. 24, where the thrill of baseball meets the power of the Force. The first 1,500 fans will seize a coveted Jett Williams bobblehead, embodying the spirit of the galaxy’s greatest bounty hunter. Opt for select ticket packages and snag a reversible bucket hat showcasing the iconic duo, BB-8 and R2-D2, perfect for navigating the sands of Tatooine or outsmarting Imperial entanglements.
Or, if you’re less into space and more into hanging at your local coffee shop…gather your lobster crew and head to Maimonides Park for Friends Night on Sunday, Aug. 25. The first 1,000 fans will score a “How You Doin’?” shirt — a nod to Joey Tribbiani’s classic catch phrase. Get ready to pivot like Ross or order a round of “Moist Maker” sandwiches for the gang. It’ll be more fun than a game of Bamboozled! Don’t miss out on the laughs and memories — it’s Friends Night, after all.
Tickets for all remaining home games are available now, and with the stakes high, they’re sure to go fast. Don’t miss your chance to see the Cyclones in action as they look to finish the season strong and potentially clinch a spot in the postseason.
