Man flashes, harasses commuter at Borough Hall subway station: NYPD

Police are on the lookout for a man who allegedly flashed himself in a Downtown Brooklyn subway station this month. 

On Aug. 5 at around 11:45 a.m., the victim was standing on the platform waiting for a southbound 2 train at the Borough Hall station when an unknown individual began to approach her, exposing his genitals and masturbating as he walked towards her. 

The flasher then fled the scene of the crime on foot. The victim was not physically injured in the incident.

The individual is described as being male, approximately 30 years old, weighing 200 pounds and standing approximately 6’4” in height with a dark complexion. 

Earlier this month, police reported two similar incidents when a man exposed himself and masturbated on subway trains in close proximity to other riders. So far this year, 40 transit crimes and 44 non-rape sex crimes have been reported in the 84th Precinct, where the Aug. 5 incident occurred, per NYPD statistics
