A man is in stable condition after he was shot outside a Brownsville NYCHA building on Monday afternoon, according to the NYPD.
Officers arrived on the scene at Howard Houses at about 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 2, after a 911 caller reported that a person had been shot at 30 Glenmore Ave.
Upon arrival cops found a 25-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his left arm.
Emergency responders rushed the victim to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was in stable condition as of Monday evening.
The identity of the gunman is unknown, according to the NYPD, and an investigation is ongoing.
In the 73rd Precinct, which serves Brownsville and Ocean Hill, there have been 30 shooting incidents so far this year as of Oct. 1, down some 43.3% from the same period last year, according to the latest police department data.
