Man shot multiple times on Flatbush street: NYPD

A 31-year-old man remains in critical condition after being shot multiple times Saturday afternoon on a Flatbush street.

According to the NYPD, the perp fired a weapon shortly after 4 p.m in front of 2484 Bedford Avenue on July 22, striking the victim several times.

Responding officers found the bloodied victim at the intersection of Clarendon Road and Bedford Avenue with several gunshot wounds to the chest and right leg.

Paramedics rushed the man to New York City Health+Hospitals/Kings County, where he is currently listed as being in a critical condition.

Police could not immediately locate the suspect, described as a man wearing a gray sweatshirt who fled the scene in a black sedan. An NYPD spokesperson said that no arrests have been made in the case and the investigation is ongoing.

In the 70th Precinct, where Saturday’s shooting occurred, there have been six other reported shooting incidents this year as of July 16, according to the latest police department  — down from seven in the southern Brooklyn precinct this time last year.
