Knife attack
Two suspects attacked a 42-year-old man with a knife near Bay Parkway and 84th Street on Oct. 30.
The victim told police a 8:55 a.m. two male attackers stabbed the him with a knife multiple times causing serious physical injuries to his body.
Thousands, gone
A thief stole from a 81-year-old Bensonhurst man several times starting on Sept. 8.
According to police, the victim noticed a string of unauthorized transactions between Sept. 8 and Sept. 18. The thief also wrote two checks without the victim’s permission.
The checking account has been canceled but not before the thief could get away with $5,480.
Unusual weapon
An attacker assaulted a woman near Dahill Road and 65th Street on Oct. 31.
According to police, the victim got into a dispute with a 33-year-old male stranger before he hit her with a hammer on the leg at 4:03 p.m.
Emergency services transported the woman to Maimonides Medical Center for an evaluation.
Back entrance burglary
A burglar snuck into a commercial business near 61st Street and 16th Avenue and stole over $3000 worth of goods on Oct. 30.
The witness told police that an unknown thief snuck in through a rear window that was left unlocked at 2:51 a.m. The burglar grabbed, $3000 in cash, electronics including Apple headphones, whiskey and checks before fleeing in an unknown direction.
Frenemies
One man slashed his friend with a knife near 86th Street and Bay 16th Street on Nov. 1.
Police said the two men were drinking together when they got into a verbal dispute just before 9:30 p.m. At the height of the argument, the assaulter stabbed the victim in the back and elbow with a knife.
The attacker ran away and the victim was transported to NYU Langone for treatment.
