One victim told police that he intervened as the purloiners were robbing a fellow straphanger at 4:55 am, when the goons attempted to rob him — but fled empty handed after a brief scuffle.
What a tool
A sneak looted a basement on Seventh Avenue on Dec. 11.
The victim told police that the weasel jumped the back fence of the apartment building near 41st Street at around 5:45 pm, and made off with $2,730 worth of tools.
Screwy
A psychopath attacked a man with a screwdriver near 58th Street on Dec. 9.
The victim told police that the madman jumped him with the screwdriver near Sixth Avenue at around 10:31 pm, causing some cuts to his head.
Dr. Sneak
Some worm robbed a 55th Street hospital on Dec. 14.
An employee told police that a disgruntled former employee snuck into an operating room near Second Avenue at around 1:15 pm and lifted $2,500 worth of surgical equipment.
