The victim told police that the ne’er-do-well followed her and snatched her packet of smokes near the station elevator near Willoughby Street at 4:40 pm, before unsuccessfully attempting to grab her purse and running off.

A marauder looted a bunch of scratch cards from a MetroTech Center store on April 1.

The victim told police that the invader pulled open the door of the market between Duffield and Bridge streets at 6 pm and stole several lottery tickets.

Clean sweep

Cleaners stole exercise equipment from a Prospect Street gym between April 1 and April 2.

The victim told police that the two men snuck in through the basement of the fitness center at Adams Street and took barrels, weights, shirts, towels, and sweatshirts.

Suck it!

Nighttime raiders stole several vacuum cleaners from an Albee Square W. store on April 2.

The victim told police that the three filchers grabbed four vacuum cleaners from the business between the Fulton Mall and Willoughby Street just after 9:30 pm and fled.

Five-finger discount

Shoplifters nabbed a bunch of clothes from a Fulton Mall store on April 4.

An employee told police that the nogoodniks took several hoodies and jackets from the store between Duffield and Bridge streets just before 3:15 pm.

Apple thief

A burglar stole almost $32,000-worth of electronics from a Sands Street office between Dec. 11 and Jan. 6.

The victim told police that the freebooter bagged an Apple laptop, iPad, and digital camera from the place of work at Pearl Street, worth a total of $31,890.
