An egg-citing revel was in store for pint-sized worshippers on Saturday as they celebrated one of the Christian calendar’s happiest days with Brooklyn Heights’ traditional egg hunt at Pierrepont Playground.
Hosted by the Brooklyn Heights Playground Committee, the annual family frolic filled the playpen off the Promenade with a sweet stream of bright-eyed, bushy-tailed munchkins and their moms and dads, all of whom enjoyed an afternoon of fun attractions and amusements capped by an egg hunt for the kids to go gaga ova.
The merrymaking celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
