Bloody hell at 4 am

77th Precinct

Prospect Heights

Early shooting

A testy triggerman opened fire on a crowd of brawlers on April 18 — a move that quickly brought an end to the fracas and sent one of his targets to the hospital.

Officials said that three to four gunshots were heard at 4 am as two groups fought at the corner of Franklin Avenue and Lincoln Place.

One of the men involved in the fisticuffs was shot in the back and rushed to the hospital with a fractured hip and intestinal injuries.

Police say they nabbed the 31-year-old gunman, and charged him with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Two on one

Two thugs jumped a man on April 27, leaving him with deep head gashes that needed to be closed with medical staples.

Police said that the victim was walking past the corner of Classon Avenue and Prospect Place at 9:07 pm when two teenagers attacked him with a box cutter.

Cops called to the scene apprehended the perps, ages 20 and 18, on the spot, charging them with assault in the second degree.

Morning lumps

Two men traded blows on Plaza Street East near Vanderbilt Avenue during a mid-morning scuffle on April 24.

Cops said that the two started arguing at 11:10 am. That’s when a 34-year-old began pushing and shoving the other man.

He ultimately punched his victim in the face, leaving him with several scratches and bruises.

Responding officers took the pugilist into custody, charging him with assault.
