Trained brute
A man assaulted a female train conductor at Stillwell Avenue station on May 6.
The scoundrel approached the victim as she was exiting the train at the last stop, near Stillwell and Mermaid avenues, before punching her in the face and running off at around 1:40 p.m., cops said.
Paramedics took the 42-year-old victim to NYU Langone Hospital for treatment, according to authorities.
Pizza robber
Cops cuffed a man who they say tried to rob a Surf Avenue restaurant on May 6.
The suspect entered the pizza parlor, between Stillwell Avenue and W. 12th Street, at around 8 p.m., before hitting the cashier repeatedly and attempting to gain access to the cash register, cops said.
Police tracked down the man and arrested him later that day, according to authorities.
F train bandit
A lout brutally assaulted and robbed a man on an F train at Neptune Avenue station on May 6.
The victim was on the train, which was pulling into the station near W. Sixth Street, at around 7 p.m., when the perp began pushing the victim in the face, and threatening him with a knife, police reported.
The baddie then stole a pair of headphones and a cellphone before exiting the train and fleeing, cops said.
Wallet thieves
Three muggers stole a wallet from a man on Surf Avenue on May 6.
The three baddies approached the man in the lobby of an apartment building between W. 33rd and W. 35th streets at around 11:15 a.m when one of them began arguing with the victim, before punching him in the face, said police.
Another baddie displayed a knife, while the third reached into the victim’s pocket and stole the wallet, before the muggers made off in an unknown direction, according to cops.
Brighton baddie
A home invader broke into a Brighton 10th Court home and stole $2,800 worth of items on May 11.
The perp smashed the first-floor window of the home between Coney Island Avenue and Brighton 10th Street and proceeded to steal money and jewelry, before fleeing at around 4 p.m., cops said.
FBI frauds
Scammers swindled $5,000 from a Neptune Avenue man on May 9.
The victim, who lives between W. 35th and W. 36th streets, told police he received a call from a person claiming to be from the FBI, demanding money to settle outstanding claims on the victim’s social security account. He sent the money to the perp, in the form of gift cards, according to police.
Bodega bad guy
A thief stole a wallet from a man who dropped it in a Stillwell Avenue bodega on May 11.
The victim told police he dropped the wallet in the store between Avenues W and Avenue X at around 12:50 p.m. When he returned to the store later that day, someone had already taken the wallet, which contained cash and several credit cards, cops said.
Gone fishin’
A baddie burglarized a car parked on W. 33rd Street on May 11.
The baddie broke the rear window of the car parked between Neptune and Mermaid avenues at around 3:30 p.m., before stealing a power drill and two fishing rods, cops said.
