Crook snatches iPhone out of woman’s hands

94th Precinct

Greenpoint–Northside

Scratched

A grabby thief snatched a woman’s iPhone right out of her hands on Driggs Avenue on Oct. 1 — causing a scratch to her ear and face in the process.

The victim said she was near N. 10th Street at 8 pm when the brazen crook seized the device.

Bashed

A barfly smashed a bottle of vodka over a man’s head in a N. Sixth Street nightclub on Oct. 7.

The 55-year-old victim told police he was in the club at 1:45 am when he got into an argument with the jerk about the vodka. That’s when the thug hit the man with the bottle, causing a cut across the man’s forehead.

The brute ran out of the bar, and witnesses said he drove off in a gray sedan. The victim was taken to Woodhull Hospital by ambulance.

Punched and robbed

A brute punched a man in the face in McCarren Park on Sept. 30 — and ran off with the man’s wallet.

The victim told police he was in the park between Bedford and Driggs avenues at 10 pm when the jerk hit him in the nose and right eye, then pulled his wallet out of his front pocket.

The victim didn’t report the crime until three days later when he realized he needed a report for the stolen benefit card and Social Security card.

Surrounded

Three punks attacked a man from behind and stole his iPhone and G shock watch on Bedford Avenue on Oct. 6.

Police say the victim was near N. Fourth Street at 9 pm when one of the men said, “Give me your phone.”

Then, another jerk hit the victim from behind, knocking him to the ground. The posse hit him several times, causing cuts to his back and forehead. The victim was taken to the hospital.
