An irate driver rear ended a car on the Brooklyn Queens Expressway, and then smashed the windshield with a baseball bat on Feb. 29, cops said.

The victim told police that he was driving near Metropolitan Avenue and Meeker Avenue at 12:12 am when a Nissan hit his car.

The crazy driver then got out of his car with a metal bat and allegedly struck the victim’s windshield — and the victim — several times. Then he took the frightened driver’s phone and tossed it over the highway overpass, the victim said.

Police arrested a suspect a short time later.

Pat down

A thief stole a man’s iPhone and cash from inside his N. 10th Street building on March 2.

The victim told police that he was entering his building between Wythe Avenue and Berry Street at 7:50 pm when the sneaky thief made his way inside. That’s when the intruder simulated a firearm in his sweater and demanded the victim’s phone.

He then patted down the victim, took his cash, and ran toward Berry Street.

Group attack

A group of teens terrorized a woman on Conselyea Street and took her pocketbook on Feb. 1.

The victim told police she was near Manhattan Avenue at 8:35 pm when the troublemakers approached her and began to hit her in the face. One took her purse and the group fled.

India arrest

Police arrested a man who they say tried to break into an India Street apartment on Feb. 28.

The officer said he was driving by the house near Manhattan Avenue at 2:20 am when he saw the suspect climbing through a residential window. He arrested a suspect on the spot.

Knife fight

Three Sutton Street residents fought off a burglar inside their apartment on Feb. 29.

The victim told police that the intruder entered the apartment near Driggs Avenue at 2 am, grabbed a knife, and threatened the occupants.

One tenant ran out of the house and called the police, who arrested a suspect at the scene.

Café cash

A thief stole cash and a computer from a Driggs Avenue cafe on Feb. 28.

The manager told police that he locked up the Donia Cafe near Monitor Street at 11:30 pm, but when he returned at 10:30 am the next day, he saw his register and computer were gone.

Electronics missing

A thief stole a laptop, TV, and computer from a Roebling Street apartment on Feb. 29.

The tenant told cops that he left his apartment near N. 10th Street at 10 am, but when he returned at 6:50 pm, the electronics were missing.

Watches snatched

A thief stole two watches, cash, and a computer from a Withers Street apartment on March 2.

The tenant said he left his apartment near Woodpoint Street at 8:30 am, but when he returned at 5 pm, he saw his property was gone.

Summer ends

A thief stole a gas generator from a taco truck parked on Bedford Avenue on March 4 — while it was still open and selling tacos.

The manger said he parked the Endless Summer truck near N. Third Street for the day and turned on the grill, but at 8:45 pm the lights started to flicker. He went outside to investigate and saw that his generator was gone.

Affinity swiped

A thief stole an Affinity bike from Humboldt Street on Feb. 28.

The owner told police that she locked her bike near Withers Street at 1:30 am but when she returned at 4:30 pm, it was gone.

Nissan rims

A thief stole the tires and rims from a Nissan parked on Beadel Street on Feb. 28.

The driver said he parked his car near Morgan Avenue at midnight, but when he returned at 8 am, his tires were gone.

Fender bender

A thief stole a guitar, iPod, phone, and bag from a car parked on N. 12th Street on Feb. 29.

The driver parked his car near Kent Avenue at 10 pm, but when he returned 90 minutes later, his right driver-side window was broken and his stuff was missing.

Sneaker thief

A thief stole a computer, camera, and several shoes from a car parked on Kent Avenue on March 1.

The driver said she parked her car near N. 12th Street at 11 pm, but when she returned three hours later, she saw her rear passenger-side window was broken and her stuff was gone.

Guitar gone

Someone stole a guitar from a car parked on N. 12th Street on March 3.

The driver said she parked her car near Kent Avenue at 8:40 pm, but when she returned an hour later, her rear driver-side window was broken and her stuff was gone.

Equinox nabbed

A thief stole a Chevrolet parked on Wythe Avenue on March 4.

The driver told cops that she parked her car near N. Ninth Street at 7:20 pm, but when she returned at 10 pm, it was gone.
