Good-sport-Principal Linda Singer swapped her business duds for snazzy purple pjs and took her young charges on a twilight word trek at PS 255, March 25.
The cozy occasion, celebrating daylight savings time, had parents, kids and staffers similarly bundled in their bedtime togs and curling up with a rainbow of cool books to promote the joys of literacy at the Midwood school on East 17th Street, between Avenues R and S.
The soiree included the distribution of free books, and dancing led by instructors from Education in Dance. The integrated arts enrichment program serves more than 60 public and private schools throughout the New York metropolitan area.
