Safety first!

CenterLight Healthcare teamed up with the Department of Transportation to give a safety seminar at the company’s Brownsville treatment center on July 9.

“At CenterLight Health System, our mission is to provide the highest quality of care to our members,” said Jackie Kennedy-Saddler, vice president of government and community relations. “To us this also means being a good neighbor and giving back to the communities we serve.”

CenterLight invited Det. Felicia Richards from the NYPD’s Housing Bureau, and Department of Transportation safety educator Eric Miu to teach local seniors about Mayor DeBlasio’s Vision Zero project and how to be on the lookout for early signs of Alzheimer’s — which can lead to dangerous situtations on the streets if undetected.

“Maintaining strong local ties supports our mission, benefits our patients and communities, and enriches us as an organization,” said Kennedy-Saddler.
