Stray strike
A gunman opened fire on Surf Avenue on Sept. 9.
The victim told police he was driving west on Surf Avenue near West 30th Street at 10:50 p.m., when a round hit the drivers-side door, police said.
The driver did not sustain any injuries.
Mr Knife Guy
Cops are searching for the bruiser that punched and stabbed a woman inside a Surf Avenue bodega on Sept. 14.
The victim told police the she was arguing with the brute inside the deli near W. 30th Street at 9:15 a.m., when he punched her and then plunged a knife into her chest and arm.
Phone Swap
A thief stole the phone off a sleeping straphanger aboard a southbound Q train on Sept. 11.
The victim told police that he boarded the train with his phone, but when he woke up from a four-hour nap at the Stillwell Avenue station at 2 p.m., he discovered his cell had vanished, police said.
Car Jacker
A burglar snagged $1,000 and other valuables from a car’s center console on Brighton Third Street on Sept. 8.
The victim told police that when he entered his car parked between Ocean View Avenue and Brighton Beach Avenue at 2:00 p.m., he realized his car had been tampered with along with missing cash and sunglasses, police said.
