Thieves swiped a cache of iPads from a locked closet at an 89th Street school on Sept. 28.
A worker told cops that the six Apple tablets, valued at $500 each, were stored in the closet between Fourth and Fifth avenues on Sept. 23.
When he returned five days later, the iPads were gone.
Paintballed!
Thieves swiped a paintball gun from a car on 66th Street overnight on Sept. 26.
The victim told cops that he parked near 11th Avenue at around 9 pm. When he returned the next morning, his car door was damaged and his jacket, paintball gun, and wallet were missing.
Get jacked!
At least two lockers were burglarized from the locker rooms at a gym on Third Avenue between 71st and 72nd streets on Sept. 27.
• A thief stole a wallet out from the ladies’ dressing area between 8:30 and 10:30 pm. That workout fiend lost $20.
• The same thief swiped a wallet out of the men’s locker room between 7:30 and 9:10, getting an expensive wallet and $62 from this less-diligent exerciser.
Smash and grab
Thieves smashed up a car on 72nd Street on Sept. 30 and ripped off a wallet stuffed with cash.
The victim told cops that she parked between 10th and 11th avenues at 2:30 am. When she returned six hours later, she found her rear passenger-side window smashed and $550 missing.
