Cell hell

Some thug wearing a black hoodie swiped a cellphone from the hands of a man near Fourth Avenue and 68th Street on May 29.

The victim told cops that he was playing a game on his T-Mobile at around 10:30 pm. The perp approached him from behind, snatched the phone and fled.

What the truck

Someone stole more than $1,500 from a truck parked near the intersection of Fifth Avenue and 74th Street on May 3.

The driver told cops that he parked his vehicle at 12:40 pm. He returned a half hour later to find the lock broken and the cash gone.

Tool bag

A handyman sneaked through the window of a Ridge Boulevard apartment on May 30 to steal four power drills and two saws.

The victim told cops that he left his home, near 95th Street, around midnight and returned at 8 am to find his tools missing.

Passport perp

A soon-to-be globetrotting thief stole a woman’s purse, which contained her passport, from a car parked on 62nd Street on May 31.

The victim told cops that she parked her Toyota between Eighth and Ninth avenues at around 1 am but didn’t lock the door. She returned three-and-a-half hours later to find her bag, which also contained keys, cards and her cellphone, gone.

iPad grab

Someone sneaked into a Ridge Boulevard apartment on May 30 to swipe an iPad.

The victim told cops that he left his home, between Senator and 68th streets, at 10 am and didn’t lock the door. He returned two hours later to find his pricey gadget missing.
